Group Standings

The Euros times and dates have been organised to fit into broadcast schedules across Europe. That means during the group stage, fans will be able to watch and bet on up to four games per day. This festival of football starts on 11 June and lasts for exactly a month before the final at Wembley Stadium. The 24 teams at the Euros are split into six groups of four, and each team plays their group opponents once. The group winners and runner-ups, plus the four best third-placed teams, advance to the knockout stage, which begins at the round-of-16. Knockout games are played over a single leg and the two semi-finals and final will be staged in London.

Each team competing at the Euros will earn a minimum £7.9m (€9.5m) in prize money. What’s more, the eventual Euros winners could claim as much as £29m (€34m) if they win all their matches. This may sound like a lot but compare that to the +£100m Champions League winners earn in a single season and you’ll realise just how lucrative the club game is compared to the international stage.
